Robin and Linda Roundtree, members of our faith family at Dunns Creek Baptist Church, have served in Bulgaria for over 30 years, living Sofia and Gabrovo for many years. Since returning to the US, Robin continues to make trips to Bulgaria to minister to the people he is so passionate for reaching. His primary focus is the Roma (commonly called "gypsies" but this word has a negative connotation).
The Roma are extremely downtrodden. Because they are considered to be outcast by most of the world, Robin stresses God's love for them and what He says about them.
Robin concentrates on encouraging church leaders, warning them of false teachers, and challenging them to remain faithful to God's Word and the teachings of Christ. He focuses his efforts on discipling and equipping the Christian Roma in Bulgaria, knowing the Roma people themselves are much more effective at reaching their community.
