Hello Church Family,
We wanted to let you know the plans for meeting for worship on May 17th. As of today we are planning on having one service at 10:30am. If we need to add services to accommodate the social distance parameters we will do so and communicate that. There will be no Sunday School, no Nursery, and no Children’s Church. There will also be no Sunday Night activities. For the next two weeks we will continue to hold Wednesday Night Bible study via the Facebook Live Stream, though this may change to meeting on campus.
When we reach Phase 2 we will reevaluate these other elements of our weekly schedule.
We are respectfully following the social distancing recommendations. We will measure off six feet on each pew and skip pews for seating. Family units will sit together. There will be hand sanitizer stations set up around the building. Doors will be opened for air flow and reduced contact.
There will be no greeting time or regular offering where we pass the plates. We will take up the offering as you leave the sanctuary. If you have a face mask and feel comfortable wearing it please do so.
If you have a fever, a persistent cough, or any underlying health conditions please stay home. If you do not feel comfortable coming to a live service yet, please do not feel any guilt. We will continue to provide the live stream of the service for you to worship and participate.
We know this will be different than church as we knew it. It will not feel “normal”. We hope, though, that it will be a step in that direction.
We love you. We are praying for you. We are excited to worship with you on May 17.
Your Pastors and Deacons
